WARNING! . . . may not be appropriate for all eyes.
As I was working on important blogging, i mean homework, on the computer, Gracie was behind me getting into the dirty laundry. YUCK! Why does it have to be the underwear load of all of them that she wants to dive into!
Anyway, it didn't take long for me to turn around and find this. . .
That's right! Those are MY panties around my babies neck! This is not the kind of accessorizing I've been teaching you!

It's been too long!!!

Gracie has mastered the walk! Of course, as soon as I get the camera out to take video, she decides she's done showing off and won't do it. This video gives a brief idea of how much she's walking, and she's not even one yet! Maybe she wants to keep up with her brother and sister. She has also gotten over her fear of the stairs (after falling down them a few times) and has mastered both going up them and sliding down. She spends a good portion of her day going up and down, up and down and squealing while she does it.
I could just watch her all day. She's so entertaining!

The Joys of Being a Boy!
Standing while you pee!
Now when he goes to the bathroom he tells me, "I'm going pee like daddy does!" He's so proud of what a big boy he is and so are we. And let me tell you, he's a pretty good aim! No messes to clean up so far. Which is no small task since his task is pretty small (being only 3 years old, of course).
Good job Cole!

I thought this picture was perfectly appropriate to go along with the story I'm about to tell you.
As most of you know, I have been potty training my three-year-old son and he has been quiet successful. We are now at the stage where we can go to the store and be pretty confident that there won't be an accident.
On this particular day, I had taken my daughter and her two friends to dance. Once I dropped them off I decided to take my two remaining children to Target for some browsing while we waited for dance class to be over.
Of course, as soon as we enter the store, Cole announces his need to use the restroom ( I think he mostly gets a kick out of using the public potties). So, I make the mistake of not grabbing a cart to put Gracie in, carry her and walk Cole into the bathroom. Luckily, Target has a family section in the women's bathroom with a toilet just his size. He sits down and I walk towards the sink carrying Gracie to wait for him to finish. Then I hear . . .
"Waaaaah!" I look at Cole and he is panicking. Apparently, he did not sit far back enough or spread his legs enough for his "boy parts" to point down. So now he is peeing all over the bathroom in a water-hose-out-of-control-like-fashion. I panic, reach for him and shove his boy parts back into the toilet getting pee all over myself, him and the baby, along with all over the walls and floor! Now, I have to put Gracie on the dirty bathroom floor so I can clean Cole up and wipe up the pee on the floor while trying to keep her from playing in it!
Needless to say, we left the bathroom wet, and still had to wait the hour until dance class was over.

The first is of the fiesta buffet we went to.
Here we are at a fancy outdoor restaurant, probably the best meal we had there.
This is me and Grandma Betty on the boat during the sunset cruise, and while on the cruise i took a pic of this pirate ship for my kids. they got quit a kick out of it!
The sunset from our cruise. so pretty!
