Kids Went Private

Well, the kids blogs are now private. Those of you who asked to be invited should have gotten an invite by now. (I assumed family would also want an invitation so I sent it to you as well). If you did not get an invitation and would like one just let me know and I'll add you! Remember, you may miss out on some serious fun!

Justin had so much fun playing on the Wii at his parents house. I think the boxing was his favorite game because he would play it whether or not someone would play it with him. I think this may be the only nintendo I'm not entirely against. Look at the work out they get!

California Adventure

Brace yourself! This is a lot of pictures. We had so much fun and I wanted to get all of it! I think my top three would have to be watching the Justin play the Wii, the carriage ride in San Francisco that Justin and I took, and wathcing my kids play on the tubes behind the boat, especially watching Rylee knee board for the first time!

The Kids New Blogs

Here are the links to the kids new blogs. Remember, only two weeks. I will be making them private on Aug. 1st!
The kids designed thier blogs themselves. They both chose thier own backgrounds (hence, the reason why Rylee does not have a cute, girly one that I would have chosen) and they chose thier favorite song (the theme song to the disney movie Cars). I helped Cole write his profile and his posts, but Rylee wrote hers (or I guess you could say she dictated) and I wrote what she wanted! We may add things later as the kids discover more things to put on their personal websites. Enjoy!

So here's my complaint. . .

I have this new mommy blog and I know a few people have seen it, but no one ever leaves a comment! Come on people! I really do want to know what you think! So, if you happen to venture over there, or know of someone who might like to, leave a comment or something. It sure would make me feel like maybe someone is actually reading what I'm writing (that is, besides my family, yah! for family).

Kids Have A Say

My kids are always telling me to put things on this blog that they want to see, like pictures of thier toys or videos of them doing silly things. Since I don't want to put EVERYTHING they want on here, I set up blogs just for them. But, I will be making them private in just 2 wks! I'm going on vacation and I will be making my invite list for those of you who would like to visit the kids blogs. I need your e-mail address is all and then you will get an invite. Keep in mind, these blogs WILL BE SILLY!

Paper is SOOOOOO Fun!

I was making our grocery list with Gracie sitting next to me and she was having so much fun with the grocery ads! So, I had to video it all. She's so cute! Cole also wanted to show his swords (made from tinker toys, his favorite toys in the world). I just love my kids!

4th of July

Here are a few pics of our 4th of July holiday. We had so much fun swimming, shopping, barbecuing, and watching the fireworks (almost front row seats) from our friends driveway.
This picture took me nearly 20 tries to get. Gracie kept wanting to crawl off the couch and the other two would grab her, but then you couldn't see their red, white, and blue matching t-shirts! Do you love them! I love, love, love them!

Cole was in awe of the fireworks. What a sweet face!

Gracie was not thrilled at the loud popping sound. I love this pic! I just love her! She soon fell asleep so all is well.

Here is our little family. You'll notice that Cole has no pants. That's because he had the nastiest diaper ever (yes, he's STILL wearing diapers) and had to spend the rest of the evening pants-less. Gracie is all curled up in a ball completely asleep. She would NOT wake up for the pic, so we just left her in the car seat! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Do you love her soapy goa-te (sp)!? This pic made me laugh so hard, so I had to share it!

Girls Night Out!

I love my kids, but I love girls night out without them too! We had so much fun. First we went to dinner at the Olive Garden (very tasty, I love love love those breadsticks). Then, off to my good friend Britta's house for a fun night filled with games and treats. And of course, my team won every game! (j.k., I'm such a loser). Anyway, it was way fun to be out with the girls talking about all the girly things that we talk about. Thanks so much to Justin for staying home with the kids all night by himself while I had such a good time. I didn't get home till after 11pm and he was crashed! Poor boy, those kids wore him out! Huge thanks! Your the best!

Happy Canada Day!

I just found out that today is Canada Day! For those of you who don't know, Justin's dad is from Canada and most of his family still lives there. I also had two awesome roommates in college from Canada, Celeste and Brittany. So, for all of our Canadian family and friends. . .

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

My Hero

After doing a bit of blog surfing this morning I realized that I never mentioned my dad on father's day. Guess I don't get daughter of the year award this year! But, since he's so awesome (and forgiving) I thought I'd make a mention now.
My dad has to be one of the coolest guys I know. I've always had a great relationship with him and especially in the last several years since moving out of the house (growing up and maturing I suppose). We've become so close and it's a friendship I cherish above most. I know I can call my dad and bug him at any time and he'll drop whatever he can to hear about all my adventures of being a wife and mother (all of which he's heard before, but graciously pretends he hasn't each time). He is seriously one of the coolest guys. When I was in high school my friends would tell me just how they couldn't believe how "cool" my dad is and I believe most if not all of my siblings had that same experience. Everyone loves him and for those of you reading this that know him, you know just what I'm talking about. We all want to be like him! Not to mention he sooo good looking! (I've had friends tell me that as well!) He sort of look like Richard Gere, don't you think? Especially in this picture below! Thanks, dad, for being so "cool" and for being my hero!
