Dollar Store Treasures
The kids found these hats when we went to the Dollar Tree to get supplies for Cole's upcoming birthday party (a pirate party, way fun). Anyway, they had to have them and I had to have a picture!

Cousin Johnny
Justin's cousin Johnny was here last week for a brief visit and these are some of the pics I took of him balancing Gracie on his hand. I know it looks super scary but I promise you she was fine and Johnny had a good handle on her. Besides, she loved it! Do you love her fat, fat cheeks! I just want to kiss them all day!

Renewing Old Goals
Okay, I know I've already posted about this but I've been slacking and need to renew my weight loss goals. I have succeeded in losing the weight I gained with my last pregnancy, but now I would like to lose the weight from my first pregnancy. Can you still call it "baby weight" when your "baby" is five years old?
Anyway, two of my good friends and I have dedicated ourselves to working out together every morning using various types of workout videos. So far, we've done it for two days and both days I wanted to get out of it before I started. But of course, since I'm not alone this time, I feel obligated to stick with my friends in our mutual goal of getting back into shape. I feel great! Even though I don't look any different so far, I feel much better already just knowing that I'm doing something that's good for my body.
My family and I are going to California for a week in July where we'll be spending most of our days in swimsuits on the houseboat, so I plan on looking smokin' hot! Maybe even bikini hot! Wouldn't that be fabulous! Of course, Justin would never allow me to actually wear a bikini, the thought that I may someday look good in one is good enough for me! Wish me luck!

I love my kids!
I was just thinking about my life and how blessed I am to have all that I have. I have a wonderful husband who loves me very much, three beautiful children who adore thier parents and bring us so much joy. There is no love like the love of a child and I feel very lucky to have my family in my life. Just wanted to share that with whoever reads this blog. My family brings me more joy than I ever imagined possible. And even though it gets to be monotonous and somewhat draining, I love being able to stay home with my kids and enjoy watching them discover the world around them. Thank you to my husband for making that possible for me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLEE!
Rylee had her 5th birthday party this last saturday and it was so much fun. The theme was Hello Kitty so I made a big Hello Kitty house out of refigerator boxes and my mom made a fantastic cake. We played all sorts of games and had a blast. Below are the pictures from her party. I can't believe she's already five years old!

Girls Night!
Justin and Cole went on a Father/Sons Campout last weekend so us girls had a girls night at my friend Brittney's house. Slumber Party! We went to dinner and ice-cream (notice the chocolate go-tee). How on earth do kids do that?! She had to have just taken her cone and rubbed it all over her face! The bottom picture is of our cute baby girls. I love how Gracie looks like she's about to take a bite out of Raylee! Thier so cute!
Rylee's Birthday, Part 1
Rylee just turned 5-years-old last sunday. She is having her birthday party next weekend but she got to open a few presents from her Grandma and Grandpa Leishman. She got colored popsicle sticks (which she opened the next day and used many of them to make different artistic creations), a card game (that she shared with her friends that night while the adults played grown-up games), a cute dance bag (that she eagerly showed her dance teacher, Miss Jennifer), a coloring book that has special paint brushes (most of the pages are already used up), this cute "dance" t-shirt (she wants me to hurry up and wash it so she can wear it again), and this dress that she wore to church (Gracie has a matching one but needs time to grow into it) with the bracelet she got from her grandparents as well! She made out pretty good! Big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Leishman.
Since it was her birthday, earlier in the week I took her to the grocery store to pick out whatever she wanted for dinner and dessert on her birthday. We had pepperoni pizza, macaroni and cheese with hotdogs in it, and mint-chocolate-chip ice-cream rootbeer floats. Sounds pretty tasty, right?! She loved it all and had a fun day. Now to get through the party!
